First Step Foot Care Acquired by Albaron Partners

Chicago, IL and New York, NY, September 30, 2021 - First Step Foot Care, an Illinois-based regional leader in comprehensive foot and ankle care, and Albaron Partners, LP, today announced that First Step Foot Care has been acquired by affiliates of Albaron and will become part of Beyond Podiatry, Albaron's podiatry management services organization. Practice founder and chief medical officer Dr. James Flood has retained a minority ownership stake.

Based in Chicago, First Step Foot Care provides comprehensive care for foot and ankle conditions, including sports and trauma injuries, arthritis, diabetic care, and reconstructive foot surgery. Founded in 1991, the practice sees 25,000 patients each year across three clinics in the Chicago metropolitan area.
